Blessed Pauline Jaricot

Feast Day, 9 January: Pauline Jaricot was born during the French Revolution in 1799. Her life was to become a testament to the power of lay people in our Church. She believed that if we all dedicate ourselves to praying a little and giving a little, we can help share God’s love throughout the world. Blessed Pauline Jaricot is one of Missio’s founders. She was also a mentor to Bishop Charles De Forbin-Janson, founder of the Holy Childhood, known today in England and Wales as Mission Together.

Pauline Jaricot was beatified on 22 May 2022, in her hometown of Lyon, France. This assembly introduces to pupils a remarkable lay woman, who’s journey to sainthood began at the age of 16.
