Fr Thomas Jackson, was a Mill Hill Missionary Priest (Britain’s only missionary society). Born into poverty in mid-19th Century Preston, Fr Thomas went on to share the love of God and example of Jesus in distant jungles and far flung war zones. He was a holy man of deep faith, courage, and compassion. For schools with a focus on Catholic Social Teaching, there are principle links with Option for the Poor, Human Dignity, and Solidarity.
