Feast Day 23 April: Saint George is the patron saint of England, yet he wasn’t born in the country and never even visited! So how did he become the nation’s patron? Find out why and discover more facts, like how Saint George unites Christians and Muslims in the Holy Land, through our Five Fact Assembly. The assembly also makes links with Character Education virtues and includes points of reflection and calls to action, helping children to see how they can become saints and missionaries in their own place too.
