We are delighted to introduce our first ever mascot, Missio Mouse – MiMo for short. Inspired by the idea that small things can make a big difference, MiMo reminds children that even the tiniest actions can have a big impact. MiMo also communicates other important lessons: such as the importance of listening attentively, of perseverance, and of our call to scurry far and wide, so as to share God’s love in every corner of the world!
There are a few ways your school can become the proud owner of a Missio Mouse:
- By undertaking a special fundraising and/or prayer project in support of Mission Together.
- By winning recognition in our annual Lent Through a Lens competition, where selected award-winning entries receive a Missio Mouse.
- By establishing a Mission Together Club.
St Basil’s primary on Liverpool Archdiocese became the first owners of a Missio Mouse after they established a Mission Together after-school club. The children were doubly happy to learn that MiMo reached them before being awarded to another champion of mission … Pope Leo XIV. Read about their club here.
MiMo will also be awarded to schools who have supported us for five years, such as St Aelred’s Primary in Middlesbrough Diocese.
