Queen of the May not put off by rain!

Although May proved to be an incredibly rainy month, it did not dampen the Spirit, present in the many Queen of the May crowing ceremonies that took place in schools across the country.

Having created new resources to encourage the honouring of Mary, whom Pope Francis calls ‘the first missionary’, we were delighted with the response. Schools tweeted beautiful photographs of pupils laying flowers at May altars and taking part in Marian processions.

Caught on camera too were countless Mission Rosaries, a visual reminder to young and old of our connectedness to God’s Universal family, sheltered under the mantle of Our Blessed Mother.

Thank you to all schools who employed our Marian resources and kindly tagged us into tweets and Insta posts. Your support highlights our work and enables us to share the message of God’s love for all his children, expressed through Christ and espoused by Mary.
